For EPSRC Funded Students

NATCOR has resources to support attendance at its courses by students whose doctoral work is supported by the EPSRC, this covers both travel and accommodation.

To help plan your travel, our courses run from lunchtime on the Monday and finish at a similar time on the Friday.

Accommodation for our five day residential courses

Bed and breakfast in a single en-suite accommodation will be provided from Monday to Thursday inclusive. If any additional accommodation is required either for the Sunday night preceding the course or for the Friday night after the course, this will need to be arranged personally with the Accommodations Office at the host university. This is also the case if a double room is required. Any extra costs incurred will need to be settled personally.

Accommodation for our one day DEA workshop

Accomomodation can also be reserved on the night of Friday 6th July. This covers bed and breakfast for standard en-suite accommodation.

Travel

Travel costs to the venue will be reimbursed, however please note the following:

Where possible public transport should be use with the most economical route being taken

If travelling via rail, bookings should be made using a student rail card
If travelling via rail an "off peak" ticket, or equivalent should be purchased
Only travel claims with accompanying receipts will be reimbursed
